Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil is a lightweight, water-resistant UV defence mist that forms an invisible screen to help protect hair from sun exposure for up to sixteen hours, to minimise colour fading, damage and dryness.
Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil is formulated with UVA/UVB filters derived from wintergreen and cinnamon bark oils which help protect hair from sun damage; an anti-oxidising blend of green tea extract, certified organic sunflower seed oil and vitamin E that helps protect against free radicals; and certified organic shea butter, coconut and palm oils to condition and detangle.
Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil also contains a light tropical aroma blend of 100% certified organic essences of neroli, ylang ylang and wild-crafted cistus.
Directions of use:
- Spray evenly on dry or damp hair before and during sun exposure.
- Start with a small amount and layer as needed – do not saturate hair.
- Reapply after swimming.
- To protect hair before sun exposure:
- Spray Sun Care Protective Hair Veil on dry or damp hair.
- Style as usual.
- Reapply after swimming.
- To restore hair after sun exposure:
- Cleanse with Sun Care Hair and Body Cleanser to remove chlorine, salt and build-up head to toe.
- Follow with After-Sun Hair Treatment Masque, roots to ends.
- Leave in 2-5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly.
- When to Use: Before and during sun exposure.
- Application: Spray evenly on dry or damp hair. Start with small amount and layer as needed—do not saturate hair.
- Routine: Reapply after swimming.

Top protective product!
This product worked well during my holiday and against the sun, I burn quite easily on my head which didn’t happen this time. Also product doesn’t cause hair to go greasy.

Holiday buy
Bought for a recent holiday. Did the job in protecting my hair in the sun. Didn't make my hair greasy or oily. Strong orange smell when first applied but settles quickly and not noticeable. Would definitely use and purchase again for holidays.

Does protect hair colour
It did protect my blonde hair colour from the sun but makes the hair greasy looking so needs washed every night and feels quite heavy on.

Amazing
I bought this product before going on holiday to try and help my hair deal with the change in weather! Needless to say it worked wonders and I hardly noticed the difference to my hair, after using this product it wasn’t dry and didn’t become frizzy! 100% will be purchasing again!
